Carp and match lake management is a specialist side of our outdoor-works business. We design, build and maintain still-water fisheries across Norfolk — from small private carp ponds and estate lakes to club match venues.
Our lake services start with the ground itself. We clear and level the site, excavate the lake bowl to the right depths and profiles, install clay or liner systems, and build in features such as islands, marginal shelves, gravel bars and spawning bays. We also create pegs and swims, hard-standing paths and secure car-parking areas so the lake works for both anglers and owners.
Once the water is in, we help keep it healthy. We advise on and install aeration, fountain and solar-air systems, manage weed and algae control, and carry out selective bankside tree and vegetation work to keep the right balance of sun and shade. Because we run our own forestry and digger kit, we can reach overgrown banks and carry out de-silting and re-profiling without bringing in multiple contractors.
